Tucker tuckarb701@bellsouth.net January 9, 2006, 9:18 pm Imperial County Press, Wednesday, December 8, 2004 Norma Jean Bowerman October 25, 1940 - December 7, 2004 Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in El Centro for Norma Jean Bowerman, 64, of Holtville, who died Tuesday in her home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro. The Rev. Art Zeigler of Holtville Assembly of God will officiate. Mrs. Bowerman was born Oct. 25, 1940, in Calexico and was raised in Holtville, where she lived her entire life. She graduated from Holtville High School in 1957. She married Larry Bowerman. Mrs. Bowerman worked for several companies in the Imperial Valley, including William Seed, L&S Cattle Feeders and Lillywhite Cattle Feeders. Her last job was Phillips Cattle Co. & Grainary, where she served as office co-ordinator. She was an avid crocheter, family said. Survivors include her husband, Larry Bowerman of Holtville; mother, Maudie Jones of Holtville; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Sabrina Barber of Holtville; daughter, Cynthia Huerta of Prescott,Ariz.; grandchildren, Eric Johnson and Christopher and Ammanda Loftin, all of Prescott, and Derek, Ashlyn and Alyssa Barber all of Holtville; and great-grandchildren, Seth and Dale Johnson.
