Compton and Luella Compton To the City of Los Angeles, Board of Water and Power Commissioners. Dated June 4, 1927. 10262 We the Undersigned, William A. Compton and Luella Compton husband and wife, of the county of Inyo, State of California for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars $10.00 lawful money of the United States, to us paid by the Board of Water and Power Commissioners, of the City of Los Angeles, in behalf of said city, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowleged, do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto said city of Los Angeles, a municiipal corporation of the State of California, all that certain parcel of land situate in the county of Inyo, State of California, described as follows: The East Half of the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section Nine, Township 7 south, Range 33 East, M.D.B. & M. Together with all water, water rights and water stock pertaining thereto or used thereon, including 125 shares of the capital stock of Bishop Creek Ditch Company, a corporation. To Have and To Hold the above granted and described premises with all its appurtenances, unto said the city of Los Angeles, its successors and assigns, forever.
