Daniel Lane* Adams was born on November 6, 1996 in Bakersfield, CA Danny was a 
fun, loving kid who enjoyed life, and always had a smile on his face. He loved 
his Cub Scout group, and his 4-H Club where he raised pigs for the Kern County 
Fair. Danny was taken from his loving family on September 5, 2005 in a 
senseless act in Bakersfield, CA. The viewing will be from 9:a.m. 8:p.m. on 
Monday, September 12. Memorial services will be held at Funeraria Del Angel 
4030 Wible Rd. at 10:a.m. on Tuesday September 13. Interment will follow at 
Shafter Cemetery. Danny who is survived by his legal guardians Shelly and Gene 
P. Greene Jr. Who he called mom and Dad raised Danny for the past 8 years of 
his short life. Danny grew up with his three brothers and three sisters; Brian 
Adams, Christopher Woods, Rocky Greene and Stacy Greene, sister in law Heaven 
Adams, Jennifer Greene, and Tosha Greene who will miss his smiles and his 
laughter. Including his papa Louis Montgomery. Danny was a loving uncle to 
Haley Greene, Cody Greene, and Cheyanne Greene. Danny leaves behind numerous 
aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who live all around Bakersfield, CA They 
will greatly miss his presence in their lives. Danny never met a stranger he 
met a new friend. Danny is preceded in death by his grandmother Wilma 
Montgomery, and his uncle David Montgomery of Bakersfield, CA and his great 
grandparents Fred and Ruby Montgomery of Shafter, CA. Danny is also survived 
by his biological parents Ann Woods and Mike Wilbanks both of Bakersfield, CA. 
and his biological grandmother Anna Mayes of Oklahoma City, Ok. And 
grandfather Larry Adams of Texas. And Donald Wilbanks and Shirllee Swearingen.
