Replogle Oct. 11, 1926 - Sept. 28, 2005 Visitation for Virginia L. Replogle will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Sunday afternoon, October 2, 2005 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and a graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery on Monday morning, October 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Virginia was born October 11, 1926 in Bakersfield, and she went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2005 in Bakersfield, with her family by her side. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Adams; sister, Norma Farr; granddaughter, Dawnya Boyd and great-grandson, William. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 44 years, Bill Replogle; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Claudia Boyd; daughter, Michele Boyd; grandchildren, Diane Elliott and her husband, Mitch, Michael Leggett, Stephen Boyd, Nicole Padilla and her husband, Dennis, and Brandi Boyd; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Autumn, Justin, Chelsea, Carly, Cory, Brea, Dakota and Collette; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jay Prince as well as many other family members and friends. Virginia was a person who never met a stranger. She loved to have lunch with her golfing and school friends, especially Birthday lunches. She enjoyed going to Morro Bay with her daughter, Michele, granddaughter, Diane and her great-grandchildren, Carly and Cory. She loved gardening and she had a green thumb. She and Bill enjoyed many fun years of golfing and trips to Las Vegas. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Odyssey Hospice, with a special thanks to Bertha and Jennifer for their loving care.
