Lillie Allen-Branscum 
Sept. 13, 1913 - Oct. 22, 2005 

Graveside service will be held for Lillie on Saturday, October 29, 2005, at 
2:00 p.m., at the Shafter Cemetery with Frank Brancato, minister of the Church 
of Christ officiating. Lillie was 92 years old when she passed away in her 
home to be with the Lord she served. After losing her wonderful husband, Lloyd 
Branscum in 1995 Lillie began living with her daughter-in-law and son-in-law, 
Don and Georgia Springer in Tracy, CA. Lillie would spend a lot of time in 
Bakersfield with her grandson, Rick Allen, his wife, Pamela Allen and their 
children, Chelsea and Michael. She came to live with her grandson and his 
family in 2000. Lillie found a great companion at that time her dog named 
Jazz. Other survivors include her half brothers, Bill Allen, his wife, 
Lavonne, Harvey Allen and Archie Lee Allen and her half sister, Betty Sue 
King; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 
on Thursday 2-8 p.m. and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Peters Funeral 
Home, 8400 Lerdo Hwy., in Shafter.
