Bertha Alvarez (Pakie) 
May 7, 1944 - June 26, 2005 

Visitation for Bertha Pakie Alvarez will be held at Remnant Ministries (812 
Baker Street) on Thursday, June 30, 2005 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Funeral services 
will begin at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Victor Castaneda will officiate. Pakie was born 
May 7, 1944 in San Diego, California and she went home to be with the Lord on 
June 26, 2005 in Bakersfield, California. Pakie is preceded in death by her 
son, Paul Luna Jr. She is survived by her son, Raymond Anthony Singh; son and 
daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Lisa Singh; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and 
Sylvia Singh; grandchildren, Jimmy Jr., Melissa, Justin, Carissa, Nicholas, 
Joseph Jr., Nathaniel, Lucia Irene Singh; Valory and Violet Luna (who have not 
been forgotten); great-grandson, Paul Anthony; parents, Lucy and Americo 
Caquias; siblings, Dorothy, Janie, Mary, Pat and Michael as well as numerous 
other family members and friends. Mom, we will miss you very much. We thank 
the Lord for the time that we had with you, for the laughter and the tears. We 
will cherish the memories in our heart. She was loved by all that knew her and 
will be deeply missed. For additional service or floral delivery information,
