"Andy" Arnold V. Anderson (Andy) Services: Sun., Nov. 27, 2:00 p.m. Arnold V. Andy Anderson passed away November 23, 2005 after a brief illness. He was 86. His family was with him when he passed. Andy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves children, Rachelle Shelly Carter (Stephen) and Edwin Anderson of Knoxville, TN, and grandchildren Dustin, Jamie, Michael, and Stephanie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his sister, Hilma Sloane of Sioux City, IA. Born and raised in Sioux City, Andy volunteered to serve in the U.S. Navy. He served in WWII as a shipboard radio operator. Andy met Roberta Banks in Mapleton, IA and they married in 1953. Andy received his degree from N.W. Missouri State College and worked as a reliability engineer at Fairchild Semiconductor in Mountain View. He retired in 1985. Graveside services will be held November 27, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose. A fellowship gathering will follow at the Campbell Inn, 375 Campbell Ave., in Campbell.
