Lucy K. Phillips 
Sept. 17, 1922 - Nov. 7, 2005 

Lucy Kathryn Phillips was born in Smith Center, Kansas to Howard Milton and 
Lucy May (Council) Arment. Lucy married Jason Phillips and moved to 
Phillipsburg, Kansas, and then to Edina, Missouri. After her husband died, she 
moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico with her son, Jason and wife, Linda, they 
moved to Bakersfield, California. Lucy is survived by her daughter, Audrey 
Strahl and Kirksville, Missouri; son, Jason and wife, Linda of Bakersfield, 
California and daughter, Diana Cunningham of Mineola, Texas; six 
grandchildren, Susie, Jason, Jerry, Scott, Brian and Jackie; three great-
grandchildren, Jessica, Alexis and Jason. At Lucys request, she will be 
cremated, Jason and Linda will take her ashes back to Edina, Missouri to be 
buried beside her husband at the Hurdland 100F Cemetery in Hurdland, Missouri. 
We would like to thank the CNAs at Pleasant Care Nursing Home, Dr. Chang and 
San Joaquin ER staff for the excellent care they gave Lucy at her time of 
need.
