Mary Salazar Martinez
May 24, 1909 - March 9, 2005

Mary Salazar Martinez of Bakersfield, California, passed away March 9, 2005. 

Mary was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on May 24, 1909, to Anastacio and Andrea 
Acevedo. Mary enjoyed gardening, taking care of her generations of 
grandchildren and she loved dancing and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her parents and children, Marshal, Profitio Ernest 
and Dorthy Martinez. She is survived by her sons, Theodore and wife, Ramona 
Martinez, Manuel and wife, Petra Martinez; daughter, MaryLou Martinez.

Visitation will be held at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary Friday, March 11, 
2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 
p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Our 
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
