Bernice Marie Woodcock
Sept. 6, 1912 - Apr. 8, 2005

Visitation for Bernice Marie Woodcock will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) April 11, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service 
will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on April 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor 
Larry Black will officiate. 

Bernice was born in Polk County, Missouri, the second of 11 children to James 
Pete Acuff and Goldie Omega Acuff. She was a homemaker, a good cook, and a 
wonderful Christian, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband of 70 
years, Ralph, preceded her in death in January 2005. 

She leaves her daughter Norma and son-in-law, Hugh Altman; son, Jack Woodcock; 
granddaughter, Malinda Altman; grandson, Mike Altman and his wife, Shelly and 
great-granddaughters, Sonya and Savanna Altman, all of Bakersfield. For
