Mary Lucy Alvarez
December 15, 1942 - May 7, 2005

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on 
Wednesday morning, May 11, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. 

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. 

Lucy was born December 15, 1942 in Bryan, Texas and she passed away on May 7, 
2005 with her family by her side. Lucy was preceded in death by her daughter, 
Terry Alvarez; parents, Benjamin and Margarita Adams; 2 brothers and 1 sister. 
She is survived by her husband, Dolores Alvarez; daughter, Sylvia Reyes; son 
and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Martha Alvarez; daughter, Irma Martinez; sons 
and daughters-in-law, James and Sissy Alvarez, Jesse and Denise Alvarez, and 
Jeff and Dawn Alvarez; son, Jose Alvarez; 19 grandchildren, 6 great 
grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Remember me as I was, not as I am. 

Remember my touch soft and steady,

Not shaky and thin;

And my eyes with sparkle and joy,

not clouded and dim.

Remember my face smooth and gay,

not wrinkled and drawn;

With my voice happy and caring,

not troubled and worn.

Remember me with eyes of yesteryear,

not of today or the morrow.

Bring back thoughts long forgotten,

not on the future, but the past borrow.

Remember me as I was, not as I am.
