Flossie Ellen Phillips
9/10/1914 - 3/21/2005

Graveside services for Flossie Adams Phillips will be held on Friday, March 
25, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Flossie was born on 
September 10, 1914, in Edgar Springs, Montana to Mary and Andrew Adams, one of 
eight children. 

While living in Missouri, Flossie and Arthur joined the Nazarene Church and 
then transferred membership to Brentwood Nazarene Church on Niles Street, 
where they became faithful members. They moved to California in the late 50s 
to be near their only son and his family.

Flossie is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 49 years, Lloyd Arthur 
Phillips; a baby son, Stanley James; sister, Mable Reed; 5 brothers, Anvil, 
Claude, Loy, Chester and Glenn Adams. Flossie is survived by her son and 
daughter-in-law, Paul and Charlene Phillips; three grandsons, Danny Phillips, 
Timmy and Charlotte Phillips of Bakersfield; Mike and Jan Chapdelaine of 
Virginia Beach, VA; grand-daughter, Karen and Jeff Peeler of Layton, Utah; ten 
great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; also one brother, 
Floyd Adams of Overland, MO.

Special thanks to Etta for caring for Flossie for so many years and being a 
friend to the whole family. Also our thanks go to everyone at Arvin Evergreen 
for taking care of Flossie the last 6 years of her life.

Viewing will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Mortuary.
