Alcala Services: Mon., Mar. 14, 9:00 a.m. Luisa was born in Mexico on December 28, 1915. She worked as a farm laborer for 30 years. In retirement she enjoyed living alone and visiting her friends at the West-Side Senior Center in Delano, going to St. Marys Church, enjoying her outdoor plants and flowers, taking her daily walks around Olsen Rotary Village. She lived a full life on this earth and thanked the Lord for everything she got. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Alcala. Survivors include her only sister, Angelina Vaca of Visalia, CA; her children, Jesse and daughter-in- law, Inez Alcala of Delano; John and daughter-in-law, Barbara Alcala of Delano; Dolores and son-in-law, Henry Uranday of Delano; Fran Garza and son-in- law, Gilbert G. Garza (deceased) of Delano along with 7 grandchildren. Rosary and Funeral Mass will be said Monday, March 14, 2005, 9:00 a.m., at St. Marys Catholic Church. Burial will follow at North Kern District Cemetery, Delano.
