All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/obits/obitsca/obitsca.htm ********************************************************** File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: K T bluewolf@onemain.com March 16, 2005, 10:37 pm The Bakersfield Californian Catarino Gato Ayala Oct. 30, 1965 - Mar. 10, 2005 Recitation of the Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., on Wednesday, March 16, and Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at San Clemente Mission, 1305 Water St., on Thursday, March 17, for Catarino Ayala who passed away March 10, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Father Ralph Belluomini will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Ayala was a native of Bakersfield and attended Bakersfield City Schools and East Bakersfield High School, class of 1983. Mr. Ayala had resided in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1995 and was employed by Good Humor Breyer Ice Cream, at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Ayala and son, Sean Ayala. He is survived by the love of his life Cindy Ayala; sons, Anthony, Ely, Richard and Nicholas; daughters, Tiffany, Melanie and Brittany; father, Catarino Ayala Sr.; brothers, Carlos Ayala, and Frank and Rosie Ayala; sister, Rosanna and Raymond Sanchez; two granddaughters, Arianna and Aurora; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thelma and Luis Cornejo; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lisa and Ruben Nunez; special tias, Sally Muniz and Annette Cruz and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews along with lots of friends. Cat was a devoted family man, loved his family endlessly. He enjoyed fishing, family vacations, and just getting together with all his family at family functions. Pallbearers will be Catarino Sr., Carlos, Frank, and Anthony Ayala, and Richard and Nicholas Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will Ruben Nunez, Raymond Sanchez and Chris Sanchez. Cat will always be remembered for his generosity, kindness and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by everyone who truly loved him. Although we have suffered a great loss, we are content the he is now in the hands of God along with his mother.
