Joanie Arlene Bartley 
Aug. 12, 1954 - Jan. 18, 2006 

Visitation for Joanie Arlene Bartley will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles St.) on Monday, January 30, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with 
funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Armstrong will officiate. A 
Celebration of Life party will follow at her mother's house. Joanie was born 
August 12, 1954 and she passed away January 18, 2006 in Bakersfield, 
California. She went to join her brother, Michael Sherman Benskin; sister, 
Jacquelyn Renay Benskin-Robinson; father, Jimmy Sewell and her loving 
grandmother, Mattie Allison Brown "Nanny". She is survived by her oldest son, 
Erik Bartley; daughter and son-in-law, Kassie and Luke McClain; son, Ricky 
Bartley; son, Jamie Sewell; ten grandchildren whom she loved, Ryan, Ketrina, 
Patrick, Kerstin, Bridgett, Todd, Kelley, Rebecca, Kyleigh and Jacob; mother, 
Gladys Benskin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Kathy Benskin, Jimmy and 
Peggy Sewell, Ricky and Tanya Benskin; brothers, Bob and Glenn Benskin; 
sisters, Margie Benskin-Lemos and Connie Crimmins; sister and brother-in-law, 
Deborah and Rick Yochum; many loving nieces and nephews and her dear friend, 
Jimbo. The memory of her fun-loving spirit and kindness will live on in all 
those who loved and knew her and though she is gone from this world, be
