Mary Wilburn Creekbaum 
Services: Fri., Sept. 23, 10 a.m. 

Mary Wilburn Creekbaum was born on May 11, 1919 and died on September 19, 
2005, at 86 years of age. Her parents, George E. and Lucy Mae (Green) 
Baumgarner predeceased her. Marys pride and joy was her family and her home. 
She last worked for many years as a Dispatcher for The Bakersfield 
Californian. She will be greatly missed. Surviving her are her husband of 68 
years, Raymond A. Creekbaum; daughter, Betty A. Chene (Roy); son, Raymond W. 
Bud Creekbaum (Leah) and predeceasing her is their daughter, Mary Barbara 
Creekbaum. Also surviving her are grandchildren: Ronald P. Creekbaum (Ina) and 
their daughter, Myosha; Charniece Creekbaum and her son, Jordan; Matthew A. 
Chene and his sons, Alexander and Dominic; Roger O. Chene. Surviving 
stepgrandchildren: Debra Farris (Kenny) and daughter, Mandie Herrington (Mike) 
who have 2 sons, Riley and Aiden; Don Chene (Karen); David Chene and his 
children, David, Betsy and Jessica; and Leland Burton (Carmen) and their 
daughter, Kimberly. Siblings surviving her are sisters, Stella Roberts 
(Kenneth), Elizabeth Carter (Tom), and Shirley Potts; brothers, Lee Bumgarner 
(Mable) and David Bumgarner. All her other siblings predeceased her. Chapel 
and graveside service will be held Friday, September 23, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary.
