Beck Services: Wed. Jan 11, 10:00 am. Services will be held for Warren F. Beck at Hillcrest Mortuary January 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. He passed away on January 6, 2006 after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. Warren was born on February 6, 1933 to Ray and E. Delle Beck. He attended Kern Union High School (BHS). He served in the U.S. Army and participated in the Korean Conflict. Warren spent 51 years in the plumbing business beginning his apprenticeship at Gundlachs and later owning Say-Kern Plumbing. After retiring, he became involved in the promotional product business and open Becks Promotional Products. He was a 35 year member of the Elks Lodge, belonged to the Libertas Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons and was past president of the Kern County Shrine Club. He loved to fish, play golf and spend time with his family. Warren is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane, son Alan and daughters Nancy (Kerns) and Carol (Bowers), all of Bakersfield. 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. His mother E. Delle Beck of Henderson, NV also survives him along with his 4 brothers and their families, Martin (Janet) of Wichita, KS. Carl (Glenda) of Conneaut, PA. Larry of Henderson, NV., and John (Dina) of Las Vegas, NV. Pallbearers will be Alan Beck, Warren Brock, Jim Rennels, John Gregg, Henry Aguilar, George Semchak Jr., Tony Contreras and grandson Michael Contreras. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Al Malaika Shrine Hospital, 665 W. Jefferson Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 9007-3626, in care of Warren F. Beck A special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey Freeseman, Gina, Kim and staff at High Grove Medical Center for many years of loving care and support. The family wishes to thank Tina Malhi for her years of devoted love and care for our husband and Dad. We also want to thank all of those for their phone calls, food, cards and words of sympathy in our time of sorrow. The Warren F.
