Mathew H. Brown 

Mathew H. Brown, 14 of West Yarmouth died Saturday October 1, 2005, as a 
result of a bicycle accident. He was the son of Lawrence R. and Lorraine A. 
(Walsh) Brown. Born and raised in West Yarmouth, Mathew was a ninth grade 
student at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. An avid hockey fan, Mathew 
played in the bantam Division of the Yarmouth-Dennis Youth Hockey League as a 
left winger. He loved his animals and playing his guitar. He also loved 
spending time with his friends. In addition to his parents, Mathew is survived 
by a brother, Jeremy Brown of West Yarmouth; his maternal grandparents, 
Charles and Beverly (Roderick) Walsh of Bakersfield, CA; and his paternal 
grandparents, Thomas B. and Sharon (Roderick) Brown of Kingston. He is also 
survived by several aunts and uncles. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 
p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 6, in the Hallett Funeral 
Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth. Interment will be private. Memorial 
donations may be made to Y-D Youth Hockey, P.O. Box 1076, South Dennis, MA
