Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 16, at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery. Casual attire is requested of those who attend. Raised in Parlier, Ed was an All-Star athlete and a proud member of the United States Marine Corps Air Wing. He was a branch manager for the Valley National Bank. Ed returned to farming until he retired to the Central Coast from the Fresno area in 1989. Ed is survived by his mother, Lyda of Sanger; sister, June Creel and husband, Paul, of Fresno; son, Sean Buchanan and his son, Michael, of Baltimore; daughter, Jennifer Ingalls and husband, Dan, and their children, Molly and Max, of Truckee; and his companion, Chele Webster, and her son, Blake, of Pismo Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Buchanan and daughter, Molly Buchanan.
