Muriel Viola Burke 
Dec. 10, 1916 - Oct. 4, 2005 

IN LOVING MEMORY 
Muriel was born in Vegreville, Alberta, Canada. She moved to California in 
1939 and proudly became a U.S. citizen. She resided many years in the Bay 
area, then moved to Placerville, CA before moving to Bakersfield in 1986 to be 
with her sons and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Paul (1973); twin sister, Marion and all eight of her brothers and sisters. 
She is survived by two sons, Charles, Roger and wife, Janell of Bakersfield; 
grandchildren, Daniel, Jeff, Jenalee, Brian, Laurie and husband, Todd 
McFadden. A remembrance of Muriels life will be held at a later date for 
family and friends. The memory of your love and kindness will forever remain 
in our hearts. God bless you, Mother.
