Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 7, 2005, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church for Lena Brancato Pizzillo, 95, who passed away November 3, 2005, in Bakersfield. Reverend Monsignor Ronald J. Swett will officiate with interment following at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park. Mrs. Pizzillo, born April 10, 1910, in Garfield, New Jersey, had resided in Bakersfield since 1988. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. She is survived by her two sons, Andy and wife, Anna Brancato of Bakersfield, Larry and wife, Carol Brancato of Livingston, Texas; six grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Barbara Ann, Julia Ann, Mark and Steven; thirteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, Benjamin Brancato; and her second husband, Benjamin Pizzillo; three sisters, Jennie Macagone, Phyllis Arenge and Lillian Massa; two brothers, Anthony and Donald Butera.
