A Rosary will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. Visitation begins at 3:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Chapel. Manuel was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and passed away on August 17, 2005 in Bakersfield, California were he resided for over 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carmen Baca; two daughters, Jessie Gomez, Josie Garcia and husband Felipe; two sons, Arturo Salcido, Tito Salcido and wife, Maria; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; his loving sister, Lupe Villalobos and husband, Felipe; numerous relatives residing in Mexico. Manuel Baca was a very loving husband and father. He was a kind hearted man with a great sense of humor. He was very loved and respected by many friends. His great passion was playing his guitar and wearing his cowboy boots and hat. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
