She was taken from us six years ago by a stroke but held on for her familys sake. Jackie will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She loved the Lord deeply and believed that upon her death, she would join him and all of her family that were taken before her. She is survived by her sisters, Mae and Dorothy and a brother, Orville. Jackie also leaves behind 4 daughters, Linda, Brenda, Vata, Bridget and their husbands; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. We will miss her but know in our hearts that she is no longer suffering nor alone. Services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., in the Chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park. There will also be a viewing on Sunday, July 17th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Brother John May will conduct services. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Delano Regional Special Care Unit for their care and attention to Jackie during her illness.
