Dorothy Banducci Perry
Jan. 1, 1920 – May 2, 2005

Rosary was recited and a Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated on 
Monday, May 9, at the St. Malachy Church for Dorothy Banducci Perry, 85, who 
passed away on May 2 in Tehachapi.

Dorothy was born in Tehachapi as were her brothers and parents before her. She 
lived in Tehachapi for more than 65 years, having returned from Bakersfield in 
1961. Dorothy was employed for many years by the county, state and several 
private enterprises and corporations.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother Chester J. Banducci in 1979, her 
parents Joseph and Mary Banducci in 1981 and 1984, and her daughter Shirley 
Etchecopar Soto of Tehachapi, who passed away in a San Diego hospital in 1990 
at age 44. Shirley Soto had been employed by the Tehachapi Unified School 
District at the time of her death.

Dorothy is survived by two grandchildren, Larry Soto and wife Alanis and 
Valerie Soto, all of Tehachapi; great-grandson Ruben Anthony Soto of Raisin 
City; and son-in-law Roberto Soto of Tehachapi.

Interment followed at Tehachapi Public Cemetery, Westside.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made for the care of Valerie Soto to 
Roberto Soto, c/o Larry Soto, 21571 San Gabriel Drive, Tehachapi, CA 93561.

Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
