Marie Barnhart (Mimi) 
February 19, 1929 - June 12, 2005 

Marie Barnhart, also known as Mimi, died peacefully in the presence of loved 
ones Sunday June 12, 2005, at Morro Bay, CA. Marie married, raised her 
children and their children in Bakersfield. Marie was a precious soul on 
earth, and now in Heaven. We are all better, kinder, gentler people by simply 
knowing her. Her limitless forgiveness of others is an extraordinary example 
to all of us. Marie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill 
(Doug) Barnhart; her children, George (Rusty) Barnhart and Laney Barnhart. She 
is survived by her sons, Clayton Barnhart and Randy Barnhart; her adopted 
children, Mike Barnhart and Amy (Barnhart) Ray; her grandchildren, Angie 
Allred, April Degagne, and Doug Barnhart; and great-grandchildren, Broc, 
Mason, Grant, Ashton, Makayla, Adison, Cole and Koehn. Graveside services will 
be held Friday June 17, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary.
