Joe met the love of his life, his future wife and soul mate Louise Ambriz in 1943. He entered the Navy in 1944, served during World War II in the Pacific Campaign aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Kitkun Bay. Upon his return, Joe and Louise were married and were blessed with their only son Joe Barron, Jr. (Joey). Joe was employed at Lockheed. Later, he began his career as a tire service and salesman working at Boynton Bros. Tire Co. for 17 years, moving onto Montgomery Ward Tire Center, until his retirement in 1988. His retirement was short lived as Joe then started his own business, JB Tire Servicec. Joe was active as a team roper and followed closely all PRCA events. Joe was proud to rope with his son Joey, nephews and many firneds. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Emiliano and Maria Casimira Barron; brother George Barron, Sr.; sisters Lupe Valdez and Josephine Moreno. Joe is survived by his wife Louise; son and daughter-in-law Joey and Melissa Barron; special daughter-in-law Kathy Flick; grandchildren Eric, Amy, Chad and Foxy Louise Barron; great- grandchildren Eric Jr., Haley and Veronika Barron; brothers Salvador, Mike and Tony Barron; sisters Jessie Marquez, Annie Rojas, Theresa Mora, Peggy Barron, Frances Contreras and Helen Barron; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation is on Wednesday, June 29 from 2-8 p.m. in the Chapel at Hopson-Anspach. Mass will be held Thursday, June 30, 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Interment will be at Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Barron, Greg Carlon, Dan Contreras, Jeff Hernandez, Ben Miranda, Rudy Mora, Bobby Rodriguez and David Rosales Rodriguez.
