Jean Frances Barrows Waugh
October 26, 1912 - March 18, 2005

Graveside memorial services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2005, at 10 a.m. 
at Wasco Memorial park for Jean Frances Barrows Waugh, age 92, of Wasco, who 
passed away on March 18, 2005, at her residence in Wasco. 

Jean was born October 26, 1923, in Universal Oil Camp, in Lost Hills, CA to 
Leigh F. Barrows and wife, Jeanette Reiger. She was the second of five 
daughters. She graduated from Lost Hills Grammar School and Wasco Union High 
School. She married her high school sweetheart, C.R. Bob Waugh in 1934 and 
settled in Wasco. They were together for 68 years. She raised two daughters, 
Linda and Susan. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Jean is survived by daughter, Linda and husband, Alan Estes of Morro Bay; 
granddaughter, Susan Estes Ornelaz of Exeter, and Lisa Rolin Ursey and 
husband, Greg of Wasco; grandson, Alan Estes, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Las 
Vegas. She leaves sister, Eleanor Scarbrough, Dorothy Macklin, Aileen Hughes 
and Patricia Woods. Numerous nieces and nephews also mourn her passing. She 
will be especially missed by her four great-grandchildren, Borden Ornelaz, 
Grant Ursey, Ellie Estes, Adam Estes, and caregivers, Dulce Garcia and 
Catalina Campos. She was preceded in death by daughter, Susan Waugh Rolin and 
beloved husband, C.R. Bob Waugh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wasco Community Scholarship 
Association, to the Susan Rolin Memorial Scholarship.
