Artemio B. Basa 
August 7, 1938 - July 6, 2005 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., in the Delano 
Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Delano Mortuary with 
burial to follow at the North Kern District Cemetery, in Delano. Artemio B. 
Basa was born August 7, 1938, in Santa, Ilocos Sur, Philippines and he passed 
away on July 6, 2005, in Bakersfield. He was a Lab Technician for over 35 
years. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Basa of Bakersfield; son, 
Cailean Basa of Bakersfield; daughters, Brenda Scott of San Diego, Cheryl 
Parsons and son-in-law, David of Chicago; brother, John Basa of Hawaii; 
sisters, Cecilia Basconcillo and Maria Fejider of Hawaii; 5 grandchildren, 
Kelsey and Chrystian Smith, Brianna, Alex and Cameron Parsons.
