Martin Bidabe, Jr. 
January 26, 1948 - July 11, 2005 

Services: Thurs., Aug. 4, 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 
August 4, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at Tehachapi Cemetery for Martin Bidabe, Jr., of 
Los Banos and previously of Bakersfield, California who passed away on July 
11, 2005, at the age of 57. Martin was born January 26, 1948, in Bakersfield. 
He grew up and attended school in Tehachapi, CA and attended college in Santa 
Rosa and Bakersfield. He spent most of his adult life in Law Enforcement 
working for the Kern County Sheriffs Department and the Kern High School 
District Police Department. Martin had a love for his horses, team penning, 
rodeos and roping. He loved his family and friends very much. We will forever 
hold him in our hearts. Martin is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Sr. 
and Petra Bidabe; two sisters, Marguerite and Sylvia Bidabe and is survived by 
his daughter, Tanya and husband, Gaines along with their children, Nathan and 
Lauren Fulghurn of Hanford; sisters, Adeline Shanafelt of Los Banos, Madeline 
Bidabe of Alamo, Suzanne and her husband, Dominique Arotzarena of San 
Francisco, Patricia and her husband, Jerry Knight of Ada, Oklahoma; brothers, 
Gerald Bidabe of Bakersfield as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, 
cousins and friends. At his request there will be no services. However, all 
are welcome to pay their last respects graveside at the Tehachapi Cemetery. In 
lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent in his name to: The Kern County Sheriffs 
Department Employees Benefit Association, 1350 Norris Road, Bakersfield, CA 
93308.
