Theresa Marie Gillick 
Feb. 27, 1932 - Sept. 3, 2005 

Theresa Marie Gillick was born in Vacaville, California, February 27, 1932 and 
passed away in Bakersfield, California, September 3, 2005. Theresa made her 
home in Napa, California with her husband, James and daughter, Dorothy. She 
loved the Napa Valley and was always interested in local politics. She enjoyed 
many hours tending to her garden, feeding the birds, bingo, traveling, and a 
lively debate on current issues. She moved to Bakersfield in 2001 to be closer 
to her family but her heart and soul remained in Napa. She was preceded in 
death by her loving husband, James; mother and stepfather, Victoria and Louis 
Omlin; and her father, Karl Bieler. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy 
Gillick; granddaughters, Deanna and Sarah Blades; and the love of her life, 
great-grandson, Gary James Lyles. Theresa will be home to Napa for a private 
family burial in Tulocay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Susan 
G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is appreciated.
