Services: Fri., Aug. 5, 9:30 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., 
for Lena M. Allen, 82, who passed away August 1, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor 
Richard Hill will officiate. Mrs. Allen was born on May 24, 1923, in Oklahoma 
and resided in Kern County for 14 years. She was very devoted to her husband, 
children and grandchildren to whom she was known as Nana. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, John H. Allen in 1989. She is survived by her son, John 
Allen of Bakersfield; daughter, Diana Dawson of Fort Worth, Texas; five 
grandchildren, Trinette Lidgett, Sabrina Crawford, Noah Allen, Ryan Dawson and 
R.B. Dawson; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Pocorena and brothers, Jim 
and Lacy Bierman. No visitation is scheduled.
