A Mediation/Wake is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2005, from 7 8 p.m. at Jesse E. Cooley Jr. Funeral Home, 1111 California Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 E. Brundage Lane, Bakersfield, CA. Reverend Tyree D. Toliver will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Union Cemetery. Viola Woolfolk (Bingham) Baby Sister was born January 26, 1936, in Wabbaseka, Arkansas. She entered this life two minutes after her identical twin sister, Leola. Viola was the fifth of twelve children born to the union of the late Oliver Bingham Sr. and Emma Bingham (Donaldson). Viola was preceded in death by two brothers, Alonzo and Harrison Bingham Sr. (t-wee); one sister, Annie; and a step-father, Emanuel Donaldson. In the early morning hours of April 6, 2005, Viola was called home to be with our Heavenly Father. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Elzie Cleveland Woolfolk Sr.; five children: Johnnie Mae Washington-Williams and husband, Michael, Terry Woolfolk and wife, Glenda, Elzie Woolfolk Jr. and wife, Eulalie (Jill), Calvin Woolfolk and wife, Donna, and Britnay Woolfolk (her granddaughter she raised), all of Bakersfield, California; five brothers; four sisters; twelve grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and many friends.
