Mary Jo Wombles
March 1, 1943 - April 4, 2005

Visitation for Mary Jo Wombles will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles 
St.) on Thursday, April 7, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and graveside services 
will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd. on Friday, April 8, 2005 
at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Greg Naslow will be officiating. 

Mary Jo is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Greg Adkins; 
mother, Mary Bishop; father, P.C. Bishop; grandchildren, Kenneth Paul, 
Katelynn, Connor and Carissa; brothers, Doc, Leon, Johnny, Jimmy, Gene and 
Kenneth Bishop; sisters, Ruth Sanders, Elizabeth Bishop, Melissa Bishop and 
Marsue Williams as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary Jo was born March 1, 1943 in Cleveland, Arkansas and she passed away on 
April 4, 2005 in Bakersfield. Mary Jo loved everyone, especially children and 
she loved animals, especially cats. She loved going to the beach and she was 
crazy about yard sales and thrift stores and was quite a pack rat. She loved 
singing and having fun but most of all, she loved the Lord. Shes dancing and 
singing with the angels now. For additional service or floral information,
