Pastor Don Wilkerson will officiate. Marie Boren passed away on August 18, 2005 at her home in Bakersfield. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell; daughter, Janice Lindsay; 3 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 grandchildren and her parents. She is survived be her sons, Glenn and his wife, Treva of Bakersfield, CA; Elvis and his wife, Carol of Oologah, Oklahoma; Charles of Bakersfield, CA; daughters, Velma Dean and her husband, Rayfird of Bakersfield, CA; Carol Logan and her husband, Leonard of Bakersfield, CA; Jaquetia Zinn and her husband, Robert of Morgan Hill, CA ;and Dolores Pedersen and her husband, Richard of Bakersfield, CA; 24 grandchildren, 40 great- grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Marie was a woman of faith and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Bakersfield. She led a life filled with love for her family and will be forever cherished by them. The family wishes to thank Optimal Hospice Care and especially Kyle Ray, Marian Howard, and Patricia Scott for their kindness and support.
