Chaplain Gary Bashor and Captain David Ebel of the Salvation Army will officiate. Mrs. Morrell was born on November 20, 1910, in Arkansas and resided in Kern County for 50 years. She worked in the restaurant business for 25 years. Mrs. Morrell was a member of the Salvation Army Home League for 20 years. She was very good with her hands, making quilts for everyone, cooking her cinnamon rolls, persimmon cookies and potato salads. Mrs. Morrell is survived by her daughter Evelyn Fabbri of Bakersfield; son Joe Morrell of Minnesota; granddaughter Christy Rafson of Iowa; grandsons Mark Fabbri of Lake Tahoe and Scott Morrell of Minnesota; seven great- grandchildren; brother, John Brannon of Marysville and sister, Bonnie Lambiotte of Texas. A special thanks to Debbie, her care giver, and Rosewood, Hoffman Hospice. Her family and friends at Rosewood will miss her dearly.
