David Robert Brooks 
July 3, 1968 - August 18, 2005 

Visitation for David Robert Brooks will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Saturday, August 27, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with 
funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. A reception will be held at the Local 
Union #428 Hall (911 20th Street) following the services. David was born July 
3, 1968 in Suffern, New York and he passed away August 18, 2005 in 
Bakersfield, California. David is survived by his wife, Julie Brooks; son, 
Devin Brooks; parents, Robert and Linda Thomas; sister, Barbara Cruz; sister, 
Rhonda Muratalla; brother, Daniel Brooks; brother, Dale Thomas as well as 
numerous other family members and friends. He was loved by all that knew him 
and he will be greatly missed. For additional service or floral delivery
