Joseph Paul Brown

April 28, 1960 – Aug. 27, 2005

Joseph Paul Brown was born on April 28, 1960, to Harry and Marion Brown in San 
Diego. Harry passed in June of 1993. Marion has resided in Tehachapi since 
Sept. 1993.

After being raised by his parents in San Diego, Joseph lived in Memphis, 
Tenn., from 1981 to 1999. He and his family moved to Tehachapi in June 1999, 
where most of his family has settled. After being here for six years, he moved 
his family to Lake Dallas, Texas, where he passed away.

Joseph will be missed for his sense of humor and passion for riding his 
motorcycle.

Those who knew Joseph know how he loved and adored his family. 

Joseph is survived by his wife, Melissa Kim; and two daughters, Kelli Michele 
and Sara Elizabeth, now residing in Lake Dallas. Joseph is also survived by 
his brothers, James, Michael, Thomas, Timothy and Raymond; and his sisters, 
Trisha and Lynn; and many nieces and nephews.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the trust fund 
at Bank of the Sierra, 224 W. F St., for Joseph’s wife Melissa and his 
children.

Services will be held at St. Malachy Church, located at 407 W. E St., on Sept. 
10 at 10 a.m., reception to follow at McMullen Hall.
