Richard Anthony Burke
Services: Sat. April 23, 1:00 p.m.

Richard was born in Bakersfield, California, on March 26, 1927 and passed away 
peacefully at home with his loving wife and children by his side. 

Richard served in The United States Navy as a Seaman First Class in the 
American Area and received a Victory Medal. He attended local schools and 
graduated from East Bakersfield High School.

Richard was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather. He is preceded in 
death by his parents, Charles and Viola Burke. Richard is survived by his 
loving wife of 43 years Sylvia V. Burke; his children, Lawrence Anthony Burke 
and wife, Kathy; daughter, Luisa Lynn Lee and husband, Russell; grandchildren, 
Justin, Triana, Isabella, Jorden and Erin.

Richard will be missed by his loving family and all who knew him. The family 
would like to give a Special Thank You to the Staff of Odyssey Hospice for the 
Special Care of our loved one.

In lieu of flowers, the family request you make donations to Odyssey Hospice 
or the charity of your choice in Richards name.

A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, April 23, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Our Lady 
of Perpetual Help, 124 Columbus.
