Our beloved Mom was a courageous woman from a strong family upbringing in 
Oklahoma. She used that strength to raise three wonderful children, Joyce, 
Peggy and Wayne, with her late husband, George Cagle. Mom & Dad enjoyed 
spending their time gardening, camping, traveling and attending sporting 
events that their 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren participated in. 
Virginia enjoyed her church, senior aerobics, tennis, volunteering, and 
spending time with friends and family. One of the unique things about Mom was 
that she learned to play tennis in her fifties and played well into her 
sixties. Mom put her all into whatever she did. She was proud of the fact that 
she could surpass ladies half her age in aerobics! Her life ended after a long 
brave fight. True to her lifelong creed, she never gave up. She never 
complained of her pain and discomfort although it was great at times. Her 
family lovingly supported her til the end when she passed away peacefully at 
home in the early hours just as the love of her life did 18 years ago. She 
will always be remembered and loved. Chapel services will be held on Friday, 
October 7, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Visitation will be 
Thursday 4 to 8 p.m.
