Verda Ethel Cain 
Dec. 11, 1911 - Oct. 30, 2005 

Graveside services for Verda Ethel Cain will be held at Union Cemetery on 
Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Jenell Mahoney will 
officiate. Verda was born December 11, 1911 in Bolivar, Missouri to Abe and 
Elsie Renolds and she passed away October 30, 2005 in Arvin, California. She 
is preceded in death by husband, Harry Cain and her son, Donald Cain. She is 
survived by her daughter, Shirley Downs; grandchildren, Kenny Downs and his 
wife, Sandi, Debbie Livingood and her husband, Gerry, Sandy Paulson and her 
husband, Al; great-grandson, Steven Downs as well as numerous other relatives. 
Verda enjoyed sewing and knitting. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and 
the Mineral Society. She was an avid antique collector. She was loved by all 
that knew her and she will be deeply missed. For additional service or floral
