Dale Evan Canada

May 29, 1952 – Oct. 25, 2005

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Wood Family Funeral 
Service Chapel for Dale Evan Canada, 53, who passed away Oct. 25 at Tehachapi 
Hospital.

Dale was born May 29, 1952, in Midlan, Ark., to Everett and Luda Canada. He 
served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1974. Dale married Cheryl Lynn 
Grayson in Bakersfield 17 years ago. They moved to Tehachapi in 1996 due to 
health reasons. Dale worked as a roustabout in the Oilfields before becoming a 
computer technician. He enjoyed camping and fishing but most of all he loved 
spending time with his wife and son.

Dale is survived by his wife, Cheryl Canada and son, John Canada, both of 
Tehachapi; mother-in-law Dorothy Grayson of Bakersfield; brothers-in-law Nick 
Grayson of Bakersfield and Michael Grayson of Oregon; numerous nieces and 
nephews; special caregivers, Mickey and Esther; and his beloved pets, Ziere 
the dog and Mozer the cat.

Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
