Bud Carr was born August 28, 1922, in Auberry, CA, the son of Eugene A. and Agnes M. Carr. After high school in Fresno, Bud joined the Air Force (Army Air Corp) where he served as a pilot, flight leader and instructor in Japan and the South Pacific during World War II. He loved to fly and when he could not fly, he built models and read every book he could find on the subject. After World War II, he worked as a bookkeeper and shop manager for J.G. Boswell Company in Corcoran and later retired from D.W. Bryant Farms. He married Moreen Keller on July 14, 1967, in Carson City, Nevada. He liked to read and aviation. Bud is survived by his wife, Moreen Carr of Wasco; son, Clinton C. Carr and wife, Cheryl of Bakersfield; daughter, Christine C. Fong and husband, Terry of Sacramento; brother, Thomas H. Carr (deceased); sister, Ella M. Fong of Cayucos; 4 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Peters Funeral Home-Wasco Legacy.com Published in the Bakersfield Californian on 10/29/2005.
