Fr. Craig Harrison will officiate. Adele Baca Salazar was born to Sotero and Santos Castro in Bakersfield where she was raised and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe School. Adele was married to Joe Salazar in Washington, when he served there in the Armed Forces. Adele was a very loving and giving woman and she even raised her grandchildren, Bernie and Philip as her own children. She loved her niece Juanita like a sister. Adele loved to cook and it brought her fulfillment watching others enjoy her cooking. Adele had a love for art of all kinds and was very creative. Among her many talents were painting and sewing. Adele made quilts with love in every stitch for all of her grandchildren. She was known for all that she did for those around her. Adele was a selfless woman and was greatly loved by many. Adele is survived by daughter, Josephine Cipres and husband, Jimmy and their children Jeanette, Joseph and Lisa; son Augustine, his wife, Terry and their children, Bernadette, Joanne and Augi Jr.; daughter, Antoinette and son, Philip; and daughter, Christina Cristobal and husband, John Salcido and children, Nichole and Alex; siblings Stan, Bennie, Tony, Hopie, Tommy; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as, a special great-granddaughter, Trinity. Adele is predeceased by her husband, Joe; son, Lawrence; and siblings, Steve, Emilio Domingo, Margaret and baby Lupe.
