Maggie was born August 22, 1918, in Farmington, Tennessee, to John and Ethel Claiborne and she passed away on October 26, 2005. She was the first born of eleven children. On December 5, 1937 she married Alvin T. Reynolds in Flat Creek, Tennessee. They were married 40 years and raised five daughters. Maggie was a strong woman of faith and well known for her compassion and love for others. Her loving hands were always helping others. She created beautiful handwork with crochet and embroidery. Maggie was a wonderful Christian mother and homemaker. She was a giving person and was well known for her friendly, humorous personality. We will miss her laughter tremendously! Maggie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Katie Whitaker of Taft and grandson, Vince Orsburn of Bakersfield. Survivors are her daughters, Dorothy and Jim Harrison, Melba Loosier, Reba and Earl Baker, all of Taft and Toni Ford of Nipomo; her grandchildren, Bobbie French of Taft, James and Patty Harrison of Oregon, Diane and Craig McKee of New Jersey, Michael Harrison of Bakersfield, Debi and Rowdy Dickard of Taft, Angelina Stamper of Washington, Troy Orsburn of Washington, Justin Baker of Taft, Alan and Scott Baker of Paso Robles, Kaila Ford of San Luis Obispo, Aeron and Savanna Ford of Santa Maria; her great- grandchildren, Jennifer Smith of Taft, Jared Smith of Virginia, James Smith of Florida, Jacob French of Porterville, Jonathan French of Taft, Duncan McKee and Lindsay McKee of New Jersey, Kenny Orsburn of Taft, Tosha Corn of Taft, Dusti George of Taft, Angela Dickard of Taft, Chelsea Dickard of Taft, Landon Stamper of Oregon, Debi Leann Stamper of Oregon, Tyler Stamper of Oregon, Troy Orsburn Jr. of Oregon, Cory, Bethany, Corbin and Madison Baker of Paso Robles; her great-great-grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Dylan, Dakota, Kenya Orsburn, Ashton Hamblin and Chandler George, all of Taft; her siblings, Ruth Neese of Tennessee, Frankie Richardson of San Diego, Georgia and Dick Erickson of Fullerton, Johnnie Savee, Atha and Carol Claiborne, Dorothy Moreland, Dixie Kemp, Grady Claiborne, Kenneth and Glenda Claiborne, Everette and Sue Claiborne, all of Bakersfield and many wonderful nieces, nephews, loved ones, friends and neighbors.
