Opal L. Clement

Opal L. Clement was born July 28, 1913 in Bakersfield, CA and went to be with 
the Lord on Jan. 7, 2006. Opal married Harmon B. Clement on August 5, 1930 in 
San Bernardino County and they resided in Wasco, CA. Opal is preceded in death 
by her parents, Abby and Peter Mashburn, her husband Harmon Clement, siblings 
Veda Mashburn, James Mashburn, Bill Mashburn, and Dolly Bishoff, two great 
grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She is survived by her children 
and their spouses, Harmon and Freda Clement of Bakersfield, CA, Elmer Clement 
of Wasco, CA, Horace (Sonny) Clement of Wasco, CA, Walter and Kathy Clement of 
Warren, Ohio, Leda Branthoover of Bakersfield, CA, Verta and Jim Rolin of 
Bakersfield, CA, and Minnie and Gary McKibben of Bakersfield, CA. Opal is also 
survived by her 19 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 26 great great 
grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Opal and her husband farmed in 
the Semitropic area as they raised their seven children. Opal enjoyed 
quilting, watching the Price is Right, and attending Westside Family 
Fellowship. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Graveside 
services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Wasco 
Memorial Park.
