Clement Architect Ncarb Mar. 26, 1931 - Sept. 23, 2005 Memorial services for Robert "Bob" Clement will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church (2525 Belle Terrace Ave.) on Friday morning, September 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Military service and burial will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, September 23, 2005 at 1:15 p.m. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Mary and his parents, Clyde and Thelma Clement. He is survived by his sons, Mike, Kirk and Tracey; 2 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Clement; brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Beverly Clement; sister, Betty Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Steve Jones as well as numerous other family members and friends. Bob was born in Fresno, California. His family later settled in the Lamont area. He graduated from BHS and then proudly served four years in the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged on March 3, 1955. He continued his education and became a very successful Architect. Bob was the founding and managing partner of Clement/Milazzo, the architectural firm responsible for many notable buildings in the community including the Stockdale Tower, the California Twin Center, the California Triangle and the adjacent black glass building sometimes called the Darth Vader building. During the early years of my career, states David Milazzo, ATA, Bob was always willing to share his knowledge and experience.
