Steven Richard Clifton 
Jan. 20, 1958 - Sept. 29, 2005 

IN LOVING MEMORY 
Steven was born January 20, 1958 in Bakersfield, CA to Gail and Thomas 
Clifton. The Lord took him home on September 29, 2005. He was the oldest of 
three children. He was a loving father of two, a grandfather of one, and a 
friend to hundreds. He is survived by his mother, Gail Clifton; brother, Kenny 
Clifton; sister, Connie Clifton; son, Joshua Clifton; daughter, Jennifer 
Clifton; and grandson, Jakob Clifton. He is preceded in death by his father, 
Thomas Earl Clifton. Steven graduated from South High School in 1976. He 
enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, and working on cars. A graveside service 
will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2005, 2:00 p.m., at Union Cemetery, 730 
Potomac Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93307.
