Blanche Cosper 
Nov. 27, 1925 - Sept. 11, 2005 

Mom left us peacefully on September 11, 2005. She is now with dad once more 
and her children celebrate the fact that Mom joined Dad just in time to 
celebrate his earthly birthday September 13th. They are both with their 
Heavenly Father now and we know in Dads patient and loving way, he has been 
waiting for her. They are both with the Lord and we give thanks for answered 
prayers. The services for Blanche will be private. Blanche was born on 
November 27, 1925 in Pennsylvania. She married her childhood sweetheart, Floyd 
Andrew Cosper, Jr. on August 4, 1944 while he was home on leave from the Navy. 
He was the love of her life and she was devoted to her husband and family. 
Blanche, Floyd and their three children moved to Bakersfield in 1956 and built 
a life based on family values, a strong work ethic and the love of God. She 
spent her life by his side and helped with the family business by keeping the 
books and taking care of the finances. She is survived by her three children: 
Sharon, Susan and Jim; her daughter-in-law, Kim; and her two grandchildren, 
Jessica and Jake. The most valuable lesson she taught us by her actions was to 
love one another. Because Blanche loved all of Gods creatures, the family 
would like for any donations to be made to help the abandoned animals who fell 
victim to Hurricane Katrina. Checks can be sent to United Animal Nations, P.O.
