Burial will follow at Reedley Cemetery District, Reedley, CA. Janice was born on September 15, 1934 to Harold and Helene Craven in Selma, CA. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Craven and Step-Father, Eddie Robillard; by her mother, Helene; her brothers, Larry and Edgar Craven; brothers-in-law, Don Weersing, Jim Cook and sisters-in-law, Mary Cerney and Muriel Craven. Janice is survived by her husband, Johnny; daughter, Katie and son-in-law, Matt; sisters, Marie Ratzalaff and brother-in-law, Marvin of Fresno; Jeanne Henson and brother-in- law, Arnie of Delano; brother, Dan Craven of Selma, Richard Robillard and wife, Joyce, George Robillard and wife, Pat; sisters-in-law, Eileen Craven of Nevada and Madeline Craven of Visalia, Margaret Weersing of Sacramento, Katine Cook of Nevada, Nada Stuckey and Marvin of Reedley; brother-in-law, Tom Cerney and Jane of Redding; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Janice was married to Johnny for 46 years and lived in Delano for 45 years. Janice owned her own business, the Sewing Shoppe for 15 years. Her true passion was being able to volunteer for many clubs and organizations in Delano, St. Marys Catholic Church and School and Cal State University, Bakersfield. Janice has been given many awards including Wine & Harvest Festival Grand Marshal, Delano Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year and Hazel Boon Award, CSUB Roadrunner Club volunteer of the Year and many other recognitions. Janice poured her heart and soul into everything she undertook, but her main emphasis would be her love for the betterment of the education for children and students. She was a professional volunteer. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
