Maxine Lillian Creten

March, 25, 1929 – Dec. 17, 2005

A memorial service was held on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005 at the Bear Valley 
Springs Church for Maxine Lillian Creten, 76, who passed away on Dec. 17, 2005 
in Tehachapi.

Maxine was born on March, 25, 1929 in Franklin, Pa. to Thorstein and Lilly 
Lindal. She married Louis Wayne Creten in 1967. They moved to Tehachapi seven 
years ago to be near family.

Maxine was a former member of the Emblem Club and Women’s Club of Palmdale. 
She enjoyed playing bingo, watching soap operas and most of all being with her 
loving family.

She loved all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild as if each 
was her favorite. Her loving husband was by her side during the several weeks 
prior to her calling to heaven. We will miss you Nana, but will see you again 
one day. God bless you.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Louis Creten Sr. of Tehachapi; sons, Louis 
Creten Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Bear Valley Springs, William Puntillo and 
his wife Michelle of Canoga Park, and Gerald Puntillo and his wife Sue of 
Oregon; daughter, Jeanette Moak and her husband Bill of Simi Valley; 
grandchildren, Joey, Chris, Jessica, Katilyn, Ryan, Shannon and Bryan; great-
granddaughter, Jordyn; and sister, Doris Peterson of Illinois. She was 
predeceased by sons, Ronald and Louis Puntillo and daughter, Joanie Puntill.

Morris (Moe) Cramer Jr. officiated at the service. Wood Family Funeral Service 
handled the cremation arrangements.
